The short version
Ritual collects only what it needs to provide your account, skincare routine, and progress. Scan photos are deleted after analysis; only the resulting scores and next step are saved. We do not sell personal information or use face photos for advertising.
Information we process
We process account information supplied through Apple or Google, onboarding choices, skincare goals, routine activity, scan results, device and diagnostic information needed to keep the service reliable, and messages you send to support.
Scan photos and AI analysis
Your selected photos are transmitted securely to create cosmetic skincare guidance. Ritual does not save the image data after the result is created.
Ritual’s analysis is cosmetic guidance, not a diagnosis. Do not use Ritual for urgent or medical decisions.
Where data lives
Account and product data is stored with Convex. AI analysis is processed using OpenAI. Apple and Google process sign-in information under their own privacy policies. We use service providers only to operate Ritual and require them to protect the information they process.
Your choices
Scan photos are processed for the requested analysis and are not saved by Ritual. You can update your routine, sign out, or request deletion of your account and associated data. You may also ask for a copy or correction of your information.
Retention and security
We retain account and routine information while your account is active, then remove or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. We use access controls, encrypted transport, and private server-side credentials. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Ritual is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
